Sports Day for Year 1 to Year 6 - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Unfortunately, due to the hot weather forecast for Tuesday 14th July, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Year 1–6 Sports Day that was due to take place at Blenheim High School.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our children and staff must be our priority, and we feel that holding the event outdoors in the predicted temperatures would not be appropriate.

Instead, children will take part in a range of mini Sports Day activities throughout the week during their PE slots. This will be lead by our Sports Coaches in the shadier areas of the school, with regular breaks for water and shade and the option opt out.

This will allow them to enjoy some sporting fun while remaining as safe and comfortable as possible.

 As these activities will take place in different locations around the school and within the normal school day, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate parents and carers attending to watch.

We appreciate that this will be disappointing and thank you for your understanding.
