Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Epsom Primary & Nursery School website. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of such a caring and inclusive school at the heart of the local community. 

As part of the Bourne Education Trust we work collaboratively with other primary and secondary schools, sharing knowledge and expertise to continually improve the offer for our pupils. The ethos that underpins the work of the Trust echoes my personal belief; that all children are entitled to an excellent education that can transform their lives. 

Our school motto ‘Every Person Shines’ underpins everything we do at Epsom Primary. We have an experienced and dedicated staff team who deliver an engaging and enriching curriculum to ensure all children reach their full potential. From their beginnings at First Steps and Nursery through to preparing them for transition to KS3, our curriculum ensures they are ready for the next stage of their learning. 

We believe it is our responsibility to support pupils’ personal growth and development and do this through our curriculum, wider experiences and a relational approach to behaviour. Our nurturing environment supports the pupils to eventually leave Epsom Primary in Year 6 as resilient, confident, respectful and kind individuals.
