This week selected students in years 3-5 were lucky enough to trial a ‘Sensory Sports Day’ programme put together by The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust works with children and young people living with a brain injury. After a brain injury, a child may not be able to do a lot of things that they have taken for granted before their illness or accident. The activities gave students and staff a broader understanding and acceptance of the challenges faced by children and young people living with such injuries.
